GAIL CARSON

Testimonial ~ "I was the first Artist that ever recorded with Marshall Block back in the Early 90's. His work ethic, and professionalism were top notch, and to this day, when I am working on a part, I hear his voice coaxing me to work a little harder, and do a little better. I could not be happier for the success that Real II Reel has realized over the years, I knew it from the very beginning that his diligence to perfection, and keen ear to the details, would bring him great success. The master recordings that came out of our sessions with him, were the best recordings I have ever had, to this date."  ~ Gail Carson ~

BIO: Gail Carson's love of music began in elementary school, playing violin in various school orchestras up through college. She learned guitar and began writing songs at age 13. In 1992 to 1995 she was the founder and leader of the Key of G , a recognized trio of musicians who performed Gail's songs on Cable television, and the surrounding Metropolitan Detroit area. The Contemporary Christian group featured Gail Carson, Rick Zerndt, and Jeff Lightfoot, and recorded two albums , 10 songs on Take A Little Step, and 10 more songs on Leap Of Faith, all Gail's original songs. It was also at this time the group created the Christmas Medley, a 15 minute contemporary twist of several Christmas songs, that was locally well received.

Gail learned to shoot video and edit, and produced 10 music video's, for Take A Little Step, and 10 more music videos for Leap of Faith, shot and edited at the local Cable Station. The shows had a good run in the local area on Cable Access TV. The Key of G did several cable television show interviews and shows talking about the videos and songs on both albums. She also began working with a new Producer, Marshall Block, Studio musicians, Nick Marinelli, and Ed Young , from the state-of-the-art Real to Reel Studios, along with Rick and Jeff, on some of her new music.

It was around this time Country Gospel star W.C. Taylor, from Circuit Rider Records, recorded her song, Take Me As I Am, as the title track on his new album, Take Me As I Am. Fissell, doing vocals, guitar, violin, and mandolin, and she sang with them at local establishments for a year, playing and singing mostly cover songs.

In 2003 Gail joined the SSA,( www.ssa.cc). She recorded and produced 10 new original songs on the album Could This Be, writing and playing all the instruments, guitar, violin, mandolin, keyboards, in her home studio.
